What It Means to Become a Snowflake Premier Partner

Post

We’re excited to announce that we have attained Premier Technology Partner status with Snowflake. As a Premier Partner, we’ll work even more closely with Snowflake to solve our customers’ biggest data challenges and help them rapidly generate business value using the power of Snowflake’s Data Cloud.

The path to becoming a Snowflake Premier Technology Partner was not an easy one. In order to achieve this designation, we had to meet strict requirements around product expertise, customer success, and investment. But what does becoming a Snowflake Premier partner mean?

Automation Is a Priority for Snowflake Customers

Generally, the Snowflake Premier status is offered to technology partners that have a solid reference architecture and deliver value for shared customers. All in all, the combination of Snowflake and Ascend has resulted in an integrated, high-performance platform to automate data processing workflows—regardless of scale or complexity.

In fact, Snowflake is one of the data planes Ascend runs on. With integrated capabilities on a single pane of glass, we provide a cohesive Snowflake ELT experience. As a result, data teams are able to build fully automated data pipelines from raw source to sink in minutes, not days or weeks. Snowflake-based data pipelines benefit from free ingestion and validation, guaranteed sequencing and lineage, deep job monitoring, and powerful pause/resume functions that save headaches, time, and money.

Ascend also augments Snowflake’s own data-sharing capabilities to bring the efforts of individual developers together. With our unique pipeline-sharing controls, developers can link the processing logic and orchestration of each others’ pipelines across teams. This assures end-to-end pipeline integrity with no additional code.

Becoming Snowflake Premier Partner

As a Premier Partner, we’ll have access to dedicated support from Snowflake, co-selling opportunities, and joint marketing initiatives. In addition, we’ll be able to provide our customers with the highest level of service and support possible.

In order to attain Premier Partner status, we had to meet the following requirements:

  • Achieved Gold Level in the Snowflake Technology Alliance Program

  • Proven technical expertise and adoption among our customers

  • Successfully completed a rigorous onboarding process that included both technical and go-to-market training

  • Invested significant resources in developing our practice around Snowflake’s platform

  • Completed a two-month technical validation program to prove functionality and performance of Ascend running on Snowflake

Final Thoughts on Attaining Snowflake Premier Partner Status

We’re thrilled to have attained Premier Partner status with Snowflake. This achievement is a testament to our team’s commitment to providing the best possible solutions for our customers’ data challenges. With this deepened partnership, we’ll be able to provide our customers with the ability to take advantage of Snowflake’s unique architecture. In essence, mutual customers will dramatically drive faster insights and increase performance.
